Western Canada Fashion Week Shows off Models with Disabilities

The annual Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) in Edmonton is held to celebrate the diversity and creativity within fashion that embraces all aspects of culture and style.

For the first time in history, This year’s fashion week gave models with physical disabilities the opportunity to join the runway, which proves how inclusive and proud WCFW are of all individuals regardless of shape, size, disability, or experiences.

This inclusiveness presented at this year’s fashion week is a great example of how fashion is slowly changing and heading towards a better direction that allows everyone to feel comfortable in their own skin and well represented.

Not only did this feature make this year’s show more powerful and body positive, but it exemplifies that you can be beautiful and wear whatever you like regardless of your physical characteristics!
