The ‘Dear Everybody’ campaign, that launched on August 28th, gives young individuals with disabilities a platform to speak on topics such as bullying, employment, education, health care, and much more.
The campaign was launched by the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in collaboration with young individuals that live with disabilities.
The five year campaign aims to end the stigma around disabilities and spread awareness across Canada.
According to the Holland Bloorview statistics, children with disabilities are two to three times more likely to be bullied. This statistic motivates the campaign to break the barriers children with disabilities face.
