The city of Niagara Falls have taken the first step into developing new disability signs that make the community cautious of those around them, whether it is individuals who are blind, deaf, visually impaired, or have physical disabilities.
These symbolic traffic signs will warn motorists to be careful and cautious of their surroundings.
Currently, a procedure and approval process is being developed to track the progress the signs will be making and to determine if the signs are required in the future.
The new traffic signs will be the first of their kind, according to a city council report. This is definitely a great moment for the city of Niagara Falls as they are developing new and innovative ways to meet and satisfy individual needs of the community.
